We offer adventurous and fun surfing for all levels. From beginners and kids taking their first lesson to intermediate and advanced surfers seeking for the best surf breaks around Lombok’s Islands. Our mission is to provide personal, authentic and thrilling experiences. We are passionate about the ocean, that’s why we try to connect people to the salt waters every day. We are very excited to share our skills and knowledge with you, to help you in every step of your search.

Beginner

Learn to surf in ultimate surfing destination Lombok with our highly experienced and easy going instructors. Whatever individual goals you have for surf lesson Moda Surf Lombok will do its best to help you achieve them by providing on honest and safe learning environment, and presenting realistic expectations. We are passionate about customers receiving constructive and friendly advice to helps enhance their ability from becoming comfortable in the ocean to surfing in complete confidence.

As a first-timer we will take you to our home break Selong. Beginners will surf with us in Selong, Lancing or Tanjung Aan, depending on the conditions.

Progressive

Join us to progress your surf, take a lesson to develop your surf technique, turning and wave reading skills. Enjoy constructive direction from our surf instructors, including assistance on to more difficult waves while gaining your surf independence.

If you are a progressive surfer, we usually take you to Tajung Aan or Lancing. However, you are also able to choose a different surf spot.

Intermediate

Progression is super safetying! Choose an intermediate surf guide session at Selong Belanak Beach or surf tour to discover some of the legendary surf breaks in Lombok advancing your surfing ability. Our guides apply personalised instructing methods to encourage you in way that best suits your learning styles, selecting the correct surf board and choosing the right location that will challenge and build your confidence.

    • 2 hours surf session.

    • Surfboard with leg rope & fins.

    • Transport within a 20-minute radius of Kuta or Selong Beach area.

    • Protective rash vest.

  • You don’t necessarily need to be a strong swimmer to join our lessons, but we do recommend having basic swimming skills. However, you should feel comfortable in the ocean and able to float or paddle short distances.

  • Indonesia is statistically one of the safest surf destinations in the world when it comes to sharks. The waters around Lombok are home to small, harmless reef species, not great whites. Our surf spots are lively breaks where shark encounters are virtually unheard of, so you can paddle out with complete peace of mind.

  • We cover the costs for all damages of rental equipment like surf boards, fins and leashes. However, since surfing is considered an extreme sport, we highly recommend having travel insurance that covers potential injuries or medical expenses.
